I get to play with shiny stuff, sometimes I bash it with a hammer then I set fire to it, how cool is that? Wendy Kay

Ocean Jasper pendant
Here is a picture of an Ocean Jasper cabochon from http://www.designercabochons.co.uk/ sitting on the original scribble sketch made when I was planning how to make the silver setting. As you can see I adapted the design during the making. There is also a silver crow that I made from a mold made from a rubber stamp. I had a lot of trouble with the crow's tail as it broke off a couple of times in the dry stage and I had to stick it back together using clay from the syringe and from the slip jar. These pieces and the snake in my previous post were the first things I made in silver clay after the 1 day course I took at London Jewellery School
